From Junction 25 of the M1, turn West onto the A52 dual carriageway towards Derby.
About 3 miles from the M1, go past the turning for Draycott, take the next left turning sign posted towards Elvaston Castle,Borrowash and OCKBROOK.
At the T-junction turn left, over the bridge (above the A52 that you've just left) and you're in OCKBROOK.
Follow the road straight ahead through the village, up to the T-junction.
Turn left (a small sign points towards Ilkeston).
Follow the road uphill, round the corner, past the first pub on the left to the second pub on the left - THE ROYAL OAK.
